Melody Friendly Project (MFP) is Aras Darmawan’s personal-collaborative music project originated that solely focus on a single theme: Intuition. The mini album consists of 5 songs and comes with a single ‘Hey Hey (Ms. Friendly)’. The idea of the project initially started around beginning 2008, at the time, the ideas were still too metaphysical and lack of ingenuity, eventually, the project was postponed and later discontinued. In May 2009, all ideas were being re-written all over again and ultimately complete in August 2009, and so the MFP was born.
MFP formed of good friends whereas also young Indonesian musicians that currently reside in the Netherlands. MFP artists all comes from different musical background, as each artist exceptionally brought together respectable amount of performance, integrity, and unique articulation on a song given.
MFP artists involved Aras himself and supported by remarkable voices of Meity (Jazz), Andro (Brit Pop), Deta (Classical), Carina (Traditional Pop), Aldo (Alternative/Rock), Prima (RnB), and Punang (Hip Hop).
